Maria Francesca Ferrari is counsel to our firm. She is the principal of Peak Law, Ferrari & Partners, whom we have a strategic alliance with. Together, we focus on cross-border matters between the United States and Italy, including inbound and outbound investments and immigration law matters.
Maria Francesca Ferrari is an Italian licensed Attorney, specialized in international transactions, especially in the Corporate, Corporate Finance and Real Estate areas.
Ms. Ferrari is the founder of Peak Law. The firm, in collaboration with New York licensed professionals, assists Italian and American companies and individuals willing to open, expand their business or invest respectively in the United States and in Italy.
Maria Francesca worked for several years for Italian offices of leading American and Magic Circle Firms, where she focused on domestic and international transactions in the Corporate, Corporate Finance, Project Financing, Real Estate and Restructuring areas.
Since 2012 she has been counseling New York based boutique firms, providing support as Italian Law Counsel to Italian and American clients interested in entering, investing or expanding existent businesses respectively in the American and Italian markets and, in particular, in structuring and finalizing several Real Estate investments (single units and entire buildings), in selling RE properties, in structuring and establishing companies, in international M&A transactions, in drafting international commercial contracts and agreements, in negotiating lease contracts both residential and commercial, in coordinating the different professionals involved in each deal, etc.
She is graduated from Università degli Studi di Pavia (2003) and admitted to practice in Italy as member of the Italian Bar Association since 2006. She obtained an LLM degree in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law in 2010.
She has been serving the FLAA (Fordham Law Alumni Association) - European Alumni Chapter as Country Representative for Italy since 2010.
She is fluent both in Italian and English.
